Oral Care
The flexibility of Revolymer®’s technology has been further demonstrated by its use in oral care products.
For example, Revolymer has developed a product which can be formulated into toothpaste which helps prevent teeth from yellowing due to tea and coffee staining; maintaining natural whiteness as part of the normal brushing cycle.
The photo shows samples of tooth enamel that have been exposed to tea. On the right hand side the tooth enamel has successfully been protected by the Revolymer technology.
We are also working with partners to improve the delivery and retention of antibacterial ingredients and other benefit agents from oral care products to provide consumer benefits such as fresh breath.
