Revolymer® has developed an amphiphilic graft copolymer that brings multifunctional benefits to lip make-up and care technology.
Formulations developed using the polymer demonstrated longer lasting films, an enhanced organoleptic profile and a feeling of moisturisation on the lips. In a recent panel test a majority of respondents identified lipstick and lip balm formulated with the Revolymer® polymer as being longer lasting and extra moisturising, whilst none identified the standard formulations as possessing this property.
The addition of the polymer to lipstick, lip gloss and lip balm as a melt during normal formulation manufacture is relatively simple.
Revolymer® has also been testing its polymers in other cosmetic such as eye shadow, where the Revolymer® technology allows for a smoother longer lasting product that does not powder over time.
